Adhering to the guiding principle of “introducing and cultivating talents simultaneously” over the past years, Gannan Medical University (GMU) cultivated batches of experts and scholars, intensified to develop youth faculty, selected and engaged excellent talents and firmly boosted the faculty level. 

  Up to June, 2024, rrently has 15,926 students. There are 957 full-time teachers, including 607 full-time ones with senior professional titles (covering 111 professors) and 344 ones with doctoral degrees. GMU boasts 3 members of the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education of China, 90 teachers who enjoy the special allowance of the Jiangxi Province People’s Government and State Council, or are selected into the “Ganpo Talent 555 Project”, the Jinggang Scholars’ Project as the distinguished professors, and the provincial “Double-Thousand Plan” Project, 39 young and middle-aged backbone teachers, 1 renowned teacher and 1 team of Ideological and Political Teaching of the Ministry of Education of China, 4 provincial teaching teams, 8 provincial high-level undergraduate teaching teams, 22 doctoral supervisors and 699 master tutors.
