Recently, the 4th China Medical Humanities Conference, co-sponsored by China Medical Doctor Association, Bethune Spirit Association, Professional Committee of Humanistic Medicine of China Medical Doctors Association, and the China Medical Humanities Magazine, was held in Beijing. The conference announced the result of the 4th “Bethune-style Doctors” Selection and awarded certificates. Chen Yijian, the Associate Dean of FAHGMU, won the honor.

    It is reported that during the pandemic prevention and control period, Chen Yijian served as the leader of the second medical team of Jiangxi Province to aid Suizhou city, Hubei Province. During the days in Suizhou, he led the medical team to stick to the frontline of the pandemic prevention and control, accomplished the task of assisting and treating COVID-19 patients in Suizhou, and achieved the goal of 0 death, 0 infection among medical workers and 0 complaint. A total of 385 confirmed patients were cured. It is also known that Chen Yijian was successively awarded the “First Innovation Prize of Jiangxi Province”, “Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions to Health in Jiangxi Province”, and “Advanced Individual in Suizhou for Combating COVID-19”.
