Recently, the name list of Science and Technology Awards of Jiangxi Province in 2019 had been announced in the document Decision on Science and Technology Awards of Jiangxi Province in 2019(No. 15 of 2020), which was issued by the Jiangxi Province People’s Government. 8 scientific and technological achievements of GMU won awards, among which 7 of the first unit won awards, which is the best achievement in the scientific and technological award work of GMU over the past years.
    It is reported that 148 Science and Technology Awards of Jiangxi Province in 2019 have been awarded, including 9 first prizes, 16 second prizes and 25 third prizes of Natural Science Award, 6 second prizes and 2 third prizes of Technological Invention Award, 14 first prizes, 28 second prizes and 48 third prizes of Science and Technology Progress Award.
    The achievement of the science and technology awards this time is closely related to the accumulation of GMU’s researchers for years, especially the policy of connotative development led by GMU’s Party Committee. Under the policy, GMU vigorously implemented the “5 Projects” and constantly expedite the talent introduction and platform construction. Hence, the technology innovation capacity of GMU got improved steadily. The overall research strength got enhanced and a lot of achievements were made.
