On the morning of May 12, the Scientific Research Center held the Doctors meeting in the Huangjin Campus to collect doctors’ opinions about“GMU’s Management Measures for Scientific Research Assistants (Revision)”, “GMU’s Management Measures for the Construction and Operation of Scientific Research Platforms (Trial)”, “GMU’s Management Measures for High-Level Talents’ Scientific Research Starting Fund (Trial)”, etc. Vice-President Peng Weijie attended the meeting.

    Peng Weijie pointed out that the above documents will provide guarantees for Doctors to achieve more high-quality results, adding that GMU will pay more attention to the high-level achievements and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the eva luation of scientific and technological assessments and awards, as well as the professional title eva luation in the future.
    Peng Weijie said that the allocation of scientific and technological resources will be based on the results of research projects. He also called for the discipline leaders to lead their teams to do experiments in person and called for associations to guide Doctors to build teams across disciplines. And GMU will build university-level and core teams on the above basis. Meanwhile, Peng Weijie asked the GMU's Division of Scientific Research and Research Center to provide fine services and guarantee for Doctors in terms of software and hardware.
    During the meeting, Zhang Jian, the Director of The Scientific and Research Center, analyzed the 3 documents and the Doctors held a heated discussion on the documents and put forward relevant suggestions.
    The Division of Scientific Research director and more than 50 Doctors attended the meeting.
