On the morning of February 11, 12 members of the 4th Batch of the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU(FAHGMU) Medical Staff went to Suizhou for medical aid.

    At 8:30 a.m., a brief ceremony was held. Li Gongjin, Secretary of the Party committee of GMU, GMU President Liu Qian, GMU Vice-President Zhang Xiaokang, as well as relevant FAHGMU leaders, attended the ceremony, seeing off the 12 “warriors” and wishing them a complete success.

    On behalf of GMU, Li Gongjin expressed high respect to the 12 medical members who took the initiative to ask for fight and extended heartfelt thanks to the 12 ones’ families who actively supported them.
    Li Gongjin said to the team members that they should firstly obey the command, give a fine display to their duties, strive to achieve first-class accomplishments and come back peacefully.

    Liu Qian presented the medical team with a flag and the team head Chen Yijian, the FAHGMU Vice-President, accepted the flag on behalf of the team.
    It is reported that the FAHGMU is responsible for the counterpart support of Suizhou medical team which is led by Chen Yijian. In February 10, according to the requirements of the National Health Commission, 127 medical workers across Jiangxi Province were selected to constitute the Medical Aid Team of Jiangxi Province for Suizhou, Hubei Province.

    FAHGMU acted as the head of the Medical Aid Team of Jiangxi Province for Suizhou, Hubei Province. Receiving the Notice concerned, FAHGMU took actions quickly and numerous medical staff submitted applications for medical aid.

    After the selection, a medical team with excellent technology and style was built. As the captain, Chen Yijian led a total of 12 medical workers from Respiratory Medicine Department, Critical Medicine Department, Infection Management Department and CT Imaging Department.
