Recently, after the review of the Fine News Review Committee of China University Newspaper Association (CUNA), the fine news award results of China University Newspaper (CUN) in 2018 were announced. The Editorial Department of GMU Newspaper (GMUN) sent 5 pieces of news to participate in the competition, among which 4 ones won prizes.
    This selection is divided into 7 categories, namely, News, Communication, Speech, Layout, News Photography, New Media and Academic Paper. Each category is limited to one work. A total of 3,848 works submitted by 724 universities from 28 provinces and autonomous regions participated in the competition. Wang Xingzhou's work won the first prize in speech category. Chen Tao and He Wenji's work the second prize in news photography category. Chen Tao, Zhang Lin and Chen Zhipeng's work the third prize in new media category. Guo Youqin's work the third prize of the information category.
