From May 25 to 26, the founding meeting of the Public Health Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Association (PHPBCMA), as well as the National Public Health Summit Forum in 2019, were held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Zhang Yanling, the President of the Chinese Medical Association, and the Consultant Gaofeng, attended the meeting. Wu Tangchun, the Dean of School of Public Health, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was elected as the President of the Branch of Public Health Physicians.
 

    Zhang Xiaokang, the Vice President and Secretary of the Party Committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU, was invited to attend the meeting and was elected as a Standing Member of the First Committee of the PHPBCMA.
