At noon on January 31, the school held a reunion dinner for remaining students in Zhanggong Campus. Ye Junming, a member of the Party Committee and Vice-President of GMU, and relevant leaders from the Division of Students’ Affair, Division of Graduates’ Affairs, Logistics Group, gathered with the students remaining in the university to celebrate the Spring Festival.

On behalf of the school, Ye Junming extended greetings and blessings to the students who stayed in school because of the epidemic prevention and control in their hometown and the scientific research tasks of the school, and thanked the departments and teaching staff who provided considerate services to the students who stayed in school. He pointed out that the school always adhered to taking students as the center and taking students' affairs as the top priority. He expressed the hope that the students staying in school would comply with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, have positive and optimistic attitude to the epidemic situation in their hometown, contact their parents and families, make a summary and planning, reasonably arrange their study and life during the holidays, strengthen physical exercise, actively carry out scientific research and learning activities, and spend a healthy, happy and unforgettable winter vacation and Spring Festival at school.

The students who stayed in school expressed their gratitude for the work done by the school. Yang Li, a student from the School of Medical Information Engineering, said: "Due to the epidemic prevention polices of my hometown, I don’t go home to reunite with my family, but with the care of the school and teachers, I also feel the warmth of home. I will use the holiday time to study hard and improve my academic performance."
