On the evening of September 14, the School of Pharmacy（SP）held a meeting for the freshmen of Batch 2020 in the Huangjin Campus. Chen Linbai, the Secretary of SP Party Committee, He Wei, the Dean of SP, Lai Riyong and Ding Yechun, the 2 Associate Deans of SP, leaders of each department, all doctoral teachers, counselors of Students Affairs Office, head teachers of freshmen and all the freshmen attended the meeting. Lai Riyong served as the host.

    The meeting began with the solemn nation anthem. Chen Linbai delivered the welcome speech and introduced Ganzhou’s history and GMU’s situation and development in detail. He hoped students to set goals, pay attention to both study and physical exercises, seriously practice the “3 Civilizations” and strive to be a medical talent with virtues and skills.

    Then, Shi Yongmei, the freshmen’s representative, and Luo Renshi, the teachers’ representative, delivered speeches successively.
    Whereafter, He Wei, on behalf of SP, extended a warm welcome to the freshmen. He introduced the overall situation of SP, and hoped that students can have clear goals and study hard.
    At the end of the meeting, the freshmen were organized to participate in other relevant activities.
    After the meeting, leads of Pharmacy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Engineering majors gave professional introduction to the freshmen.
