Recently, the results of the speech contest “Achieving Overall Well-off Society, Fighting against the Poverty” had been announced, which was sponsored by the Office of Poverty Alleviation Leadership Group of Huichang County and the Department of Propaganda of Huichang County Party Committee. Liu Hui, a member of GMU’s working team in the village, won the first prize.
    It is known that the contest lasted for 2 months and 13 participants entered the final. They told the real poverty alleviation stories of their own or those around them through speeches, situational preaches and performances, which reflected the devotion and firm faith of the poverty alleviation workers from various perspectives.
    After the fierce competition, the final results included 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes and several Excellence Awards.
