In order to further strengthen the development of young teachers, build an exchange platform, promote the improvement of young teachers' teaching level and select outstanding players to participate in the GMU competition, the School of Nursing (SN) held the basic teaching skills competition for young teachers on April 24.

Almost all the young teachers under 40 years old participated in the competition. With the scientific teaching plan, vivid and beautiful courseware, passionate language and sound teaching postures, the contestants fully demonstrated the personality of young teachers.

After the competition, SN Dean put forward suggestions on the common problems existing in the teaching design and demonstration of the contestants, and encouraged the young teachers to practice boldly, actively make exploration and continuously do innovation to build their own unique teaching styles. And Ding Mei encouraged all teachers to love teaching, build modern education philosophy and an atmosphere of attaching importance to teaching, promote the reform of education and teaching and improve the teaching level so as to boost the quality of personnel training.

Finally, Lin Dongmei won the championship. Xu Jinxian the second prize and Xiao Meifang the third prize. Lin Dongmei was selected to participate in the Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young Teachers in 2020 on behalf of SN.
