On the evening of December 5, the School of Rehabilitation (SR) held the Inaugural Conference for the Psychological Workstation and the First Special Lecture in Classroom 105, the First Teaching Building of Huangjin Campus. Presided over by the psychological counselor Lei Piao, this conference was attended by Ye Zhenli, deputy secretary of the Party committee of SR, the leader in charge of the GMU Psychological Consultation Center, the SR Students’ Affairs Office teachers, SR psychological committee members and more than 200 students.
 

    At the meeting, on behalf of SR, Ye Zhenli, extended congratulations to the founding of the Psychological Workstation, and emphasized that SR should promote mental health education in terms of improving the sense of responsibility, paying attention to humanistic care, learning self mediation, etc so as to cultivate good talents featuring both fine morality and technology for the society.
    Lei Piao introduced the main responsibilities and working procedures of psychological workstation, psychological committee members and Xinqing liaison officers, and made clear the planning and development direction of the workstation.
    In the psychological lecture, Liu Xiaozhen took “The Growth of Psychological Committee Members -- Self-awareness” as the theme, combined with her own experience, practical cases and psychological games, guided everyone in terms of  physiological self, psychological self and social self one by one to deeply analyze themselves, correctly understand themselves, remove the inherent concept and implement the philosophy of "Helping Others is Helping Oneself” to improve the service level of mental health.
