In order to create a training mode of medical and nursing integration, on December 30, the School of Rehabilitation (SR) held a seminar on the construction of rehabilitation therapy specialty to explore the cultivation of application-oriented talents with rehabilitation therapy specialty characteristics. All SR leaders, all teachers of the Teaching and Research Section of Rehabilitation Therapy and the SR teaching secretary, attended the meeting.

On the basis of previous investigation, the participants discussed the feasibility of subdividing the existing rehabilitation therapeutics majors into the majors of severe rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, children's rehabilitation and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. In order to further determine the rehabilitation therapy subdivision, SR conducted a further investigation on the 4 majors in the First and Third Affiliated Hospital of GMU.
