According to the unified deployment of online teaching of GMU, School of Basic Medicine Sciences (SBMS) quickly organized relevant personnel to be familiar in the operation process and carefully prepare the courses, so as to ensure a good state for the official online opening on February 17.

Since the launch of online teaching preparation on January 31, SBMS arranged the work in the form of online meetings on the significance and purpose of online teaching so as to further unify ideas and clarify tasks.

Enjoying the feature of numerous students, classes and courses, SBMS made flexible choices in the presentation form of teaching platform and online classroom based on different course characteristics and teachers' information technology literacy level, launching a batch of MOOCs, micro class recordings and broadcasting classes and online live classes.

In order to ensure the effectiveness of online teaching, every professional teacher was required to be more attentive and reasonable in the selection of teaching content, the use of teaching methods and the use of teaching language, so as to improve the vividness, interest and interaction of the online courses. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the Department of Prevention Medicine and the Teaching and Research Office of Pathogenic biology gave full play to their resources advantages and quickly organized personnel to set up 2 online courses related to the epidemic, “Epidemiology” and “Virology”, popularizing knowledge and spread strong positive energy.
