On February 27, the 2nd Clinical Pharmacist Salon of Ganzhou was held in the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU (FAHGMU). Students from Ganzhou People's Hospital, Ganzhou Municipal Hospital and two clinical pharmacist training bases in Ganzhou discussed the rational use of proton pump inhibitors (PPI) together.
 

    Wei Guilin, the director of the Pharmacy Department of the FAHGMU, hosted the meeting. Guo Chunyu, deputy director of the Pharmacy Department, Wu Jun, clinical pharmacist, and Lai Jun, the clinical pharmacist of Ganzhou People's Hospital, made brilliant explanations on the comparison of various kinds of PPI preparations, rational application of endoscopy in perioperative period, identification and standardized treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
    Subsequently, the pharmacists at the meeting conducted in-depth discussions on the selection of preparations, the administration methods and the courses of treatment when using PPI in clinical practice. Pharmacists had a deeper understanding of PPI drugs.
