On October 20, Professor Chen Weihong from the School of Public Health of Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), and the delegation of HUST were invited to GMU to give lectures. The delegation gave a special lecture on The Pandemic Process of COVID-19 and the Control Effect of Intervention Measures in Hubei Province (Wuhan), which many teachers and students listened to it. The lecture was organized by the Division of Scientific Research and Industry, as well as the School of Public Health and Healthcare Management.
    Professor Chen Weihong and Dr Wang Dongming respectively introduced in detail the work that teachers and students of the School of Public Health of Tongji Medical College participated in during the pandemic prevention and control period. What’s more, they eva luated the changes and effect of the pandemic trend in Hubei Province and Wuhan after the implementation of key prevention and control measures, which provided theoretical support for future pandemic prevention and control.
    During the lecture, Professor Chen Weihong and Dr Wang Dongming interacted passionately with participants and answered questions raised by teachers and students seriously. After the lecture, the School of Public Health and Healthcare Management and Professor Chen Weihong discussed the future development of GMU, and they hoped to strengthen cooperation and exchange.
