On the evening of October 20, chaired by Doctor Jiang Feng, GMU’s 6th Rongjiang Forum in 2020 was held in the Scientific and Research Center in the Huangjin Campus. And the relevant professors, doctors and over 30 representatives of teachers and students attended the forum.

    Dr Chen Xin from the SBMS made a report on Similarities and Differences in Laboratory Test Results for COVID-19 Survivors and Deaths, which provided reference for clinical identification of high-risk COVID-19 patients.

    Dr Zhou Futao from SBMS made a report on The Accelerating AD Mechanism of Prion-like Tau-protein. He analyzed the characteristics of prion-like tau and its function in pathogenesis and the progression of AD in terms of tau molecule structure, characteristics of prion virus, vitro and vivo research methods, mechanism and regulatory factors of tau propagation. He also looked forward to possible breakthroughs in this direction.
    During the meeting, the participants aroused a heated discussion and discussed the direction of future cooperation.
