Recently, accompanied by Vice President Ye Junming and the directors of Alumni Office, Li Gongjin, the Secretary of GMU Party Committee, paid a visit to the outstanding alumni in Hangzhou and Shanghai, and they paid a special visit to Li Qingfeng, the Vice President of the 9th Affiliated Hospital to School of Medicine Sciences of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
    Li Gongjin introduced the development of GMU in detail in recent years. He said that alumni and GMU influenced and developed jointly. The social status and influence of a university were created by the alumni, who were indispensable and important force in the development of the Alma mater.

    In order to integrate the advantages of intellectual resources inside and outside GMU, serve the development needs of GMU and alumni, strengthen industry-university-research cooperation between GMU and alumni, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, Li Gongjin put forward expectations for the alumni. First, he hoped that the alumni can give full support to GMU’s connotative development. Second, he welcomed the alumni to join in the 80th anniversary of GMU next year. Third, he hoped that the alumni can provide suggestions for GMU’s development. 
    The alumni thanked GMU for the visit and expressed gratitude for its cultivation, and said that they were willing to strengthen cooperation with GMU and would give full support to GMU’s development.
