On the afternoon of October 23, the Secretary Group of the Leading Group for Education of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Education jointly held a teleconference in Beijing to implement the Deepening the Overall Plan of Education eva luation Reform in the New Era. GMU leaders Li Gongjin, Liu Qian, Huang Ruizhong, Ye Junming and Peng Weijie, watched the teleconference via live broadcast.

    After watching the teleconference, Li Gongjin pointed out that The Overall Plan was the direction of higher education eva luation reform for a very long time, and that GMU should resolutely carry out it and overcome stereotypes such as the thought of score-only, diploma-only, thesis-only, etc.
    Li Gongjin required that GMU should be strictly in accordance with the requirements of the Overall Plan, work hard around the goal of cultivating students with all-round development and implement all works, so as to realize the high-quality development of GMU’s education.
    Liu Qian stressed that the Personnel Division, Academic Affairs Division, Scientific Research & Industry Division, Postgraduate Division and other functional departments should closely follow the specific tasks of The Overall Plan, combine with the 14th Five-year Plan of GMU, and start the revision of relevant rules and regulations of GMU as soon as possible and scientifically explore the education eva luation plan for GMU in the new era under the coordination of the subordinate Schools.
