On the morning of October 14, the 1st lecture of the Medical Education Lecture, sponsored by the National Medical Education Development Center and the National Teaching Development Alliance of Medical Universities, was carried out successfully. President Liu Qian, Vice President Ye Junming, the Deans and Associate Deans of the Schools, as well as the leaders of the relevant departments, watched the lecture via live broadcast.

    Wu Yan, the Director of Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education of China, explained The Guidance of the General Office of the State Council on Accelerating the Innovative Development of Medical Education (hereafter referred to as Guidance) in detail under the title of Planning Overall Situation, Adapting the Changing Situation, Opening a New Situation—Accelerating the Innovative Development of Medical Education.
Liu Qian pointed out that Director Wu Yan’s report was strategically placed, which provided new ideas and pointed out new directions for GMU to further promote the innovative development of medical education.
    Liu Qian stressed that GMU should attach great importance to The Guidance, further organize all the faculty to study it seriously, deeply understand the connotation, grasp the key points, combine with GMU’s reality, make a long-term plan, and strive to realize the innovative development of medical education of GMU.
