October 17 was the 7th National Poverty Alleviation Day as well as the 28th International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Zeng Zexin, the Deputy Secretary of GMU Party Committee, Gan Yafen, the Director of Department of Organization of GMU Party Committee, and GMU’s delegation paid a visit to Luotian Village, Xiaomi Town, Huichang County to inspect the targeted poverty alleviation work.

    After the arrival at Luotian Village, the delegation visited the working and living places of the village working team and had in-depth discussions with cadres in the village committee. During the meeting, Gan Yafen led the participants to learn from Secretary Li Bingjun’s speech spirit at the Meeting of Ganzhou’s Targeted Poverty Alleviation Leading Group. After listening to the report of Li Zhaohua, the 1st Secretary of Luotian Village, Zeng Zexin fully affirmed the achievements of the working team and put forward the following relevant requirements. First, the working team should continue to do a good job in renovation of human living environment and make a long term plan. Second, the team should deepen poverty alleviation and form a long-term mechanism. Third, the gratitude education of poverty alleviation should be conducted. Finally, the team should combine poverty alleviation with rural revitalization and contribute to the construction of the future development of Luotian Village.
    After the meeting, the delegation visited the poor and presented cash gift from the Party and government to them.
    Zeng Lingzhen, the Head of Xiaomi Town, Zhong Zhiyong, the chairman of the National People’s Congress of Xiaomi Town, and Zeng Hui, the Director of Military Department of XiaomiTown, accompanied the relevant activities.
