On the morning of September 16, Zhou Yingyu, the Director of Science and Technology Development Center of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association (CPA), Liu Yanli, the Deputy Director of School Office of Chinese Pharmaceutical University (CPU), Bu Zhiyi, the Deputy District Governor of Zhanggong District and 11 delegates, paid a visit to GMU. President Liu Qian and Vice-President Peng Weijie attended the meeting in the Huangjin Campus.

    During the meeting, Liu Qian and Peng Weijie respectively introduced GMU history, teaching characteristics, talent training, teachers’ team, scientific research, discipline characteristics and other basic information. Liu Qian thanked the experts for visiting GMU and hoped both parties to jointly make efforts to strengthen cooperation in the future.

    Zhou Yingyu introduced the history, social function and organizational structures of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. She said that the experts of the association will do their best to support the development of GMU, train more outstanding talents for the development of the country’s medical cause, and contribute to the development of China’s public health cause.

    Liu Yanli, He Wei the Dean of School of Pharmacy (SP) of CPU, and Di Bin, the Associate Dean of SP of CPU, respectively introduced the construction and development of CPU. Bu Zhiyi introduced the development of the district and the connection between government and GMU.
    The 3 parties exchanged in-depth and extensive opinions on the cooperation of local pharmaceutical talent training, scientific research achievements and integration of production and education. They hoped to further expand cooperation, deepen exchange, effectively promote the integration of production and education, and achieve a win-win situation.

    Peng Weijie accompanied the experts to visit the Scientific Research Center and No.2 Experimental Building, inspected the key lab of the Ministry of Education for the Prevention and Treatment of Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases, and the Collaborative Innovation Center of Oil Tea Industry Development on the spot. He listened to the introduction of the scientific research progress and development planning of relevant fields respectively.
    The participants included Shi Yang and Xu Yingfeng, 2 Deputy Directors of Science and Technology Development Center of CPA, Li Yuntao, the Director of Science and Technology Communication Department, Science and Technology Development Center, Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, the leaders of Division of Scientific Research, Scientific Research Center and SP, and doctors’ representatives.
