On the morning of September 22, chaired by Dr Jiang Feng, GMU 3rd Rongjiang Forum in 2020 was held in the Scientific and Research Center. The relevant professors, doctors and over 30 representatives of teachers and students attended the forum.
    Based on the research, Dr Liu Yao from the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU elaborated on the issue of “HMGB1—A Hot Molecular Issue in Liver Cancer Research”, and introduced the structure and function of HMGB1 and the mechanism through which HMGB1 was involved in the occurrence and development of liver cancer.

    Dr Yang Hui from the School of Medical Information Engineering made a report on “Hierarchical Structure of Micro-nano Materials—Bionic Design and its Application in Biomedicine and Energy Storage and Conversion”. He summarized the relevant work in bionic structure design and application of inorganic micro-nano materials and the main research directions at the current stage.

    The participants conducted exchanges and discussed the future direction of cooperation.
