During August 12-13, GMU Vice-President Ye Junming led the relevant leaders of the Division of Academic Affairs, Students Affairs Division, Postgraduates Affairs Division and the School of Basic Medicine Sciences (SBMS) to visit the First People’s Hospital of Pingxiang, the Second People’s Hospital of Pingxiang and Pingxiang Health Vocational College successively. The team got a detailed understanding of the internship work management and students’ daily life security of each practice base, and investigated the students’ internship work and daily life situation on the spot.

    During the visit, the leaders of all units praised the work of GMU in practice teaching and talent training for many years, and fully affirmed the performance of GMU’s interns. They said that they would continue to do their best to ensure the service of interns during their internship.

    In the meeting with the interns, Ye Junming conveyed GMU’s expectation and care, and encouraged them to obey the practice rules and the stipulations of the hospitals. He also asked the interns to enhance professional practice skills and comprehensive quality so as to complete the internship successfully. The interns were thankful for the visit, and talked about their internship experience and gains. They said that the internship teachers offered them a lot of opportunities and they learned lots of operational knowledge and skills, and actually improved their practical ability.
