On the evening of August 19, FAHGMU held the Commendation Meeting of the 3rd China Doctors’ Day in 2020.

    President Liu Qian delivered the opening speech. He expressed the holiday congratulations to the doctors on behalf of GMU, paid tribute to the medical aid workers to Hubei Province during the pandemic period and thanked the friends who had been caring and supporting the development of GMU and FAHGMU for a long time. He pointed out that the medical workers of FAHGMU fully displayed their professional quality and dedication in the fight against the COVID-19 and the post-pandemic period of resumption of work, production and school, and that they deserved the name of “White Angel”. Currently, the situation of pandemic prevention and control was still grim, and FAHGMU faced both opportunities and challenges. FAHGMU will surely achieve all its goals and greater achievements. Liu Qian hoped that FAHGMU would further intensify the normal pandemic prevention and control as well as its own careers, continue to improve the quality and level of medical care and do a good job of protecting people’s health.

    After that, a ceremony was held for the new staff to change the emblem of the hospital and made an oath of China Doctors. Zou Xiaofeng, the President of FAHGMU, and other leaders awarded the emblems to new colleagues, and led new colleagues and all on-site doctors to review the Declaration of China Doctors.

    During the award ceremony, Liu Qian and the leaders of FAHGMU jointly awarded the departments or individuals for the “Science and Technology Progress Award of Jiangxi People’s Government”, “Natural Science Award of Jiangxi People’s Government”, “GMU’s Teaching Competition for Young Teachers” and so on.

    During the party, the medical workers presented wonderful performance, which sent the congratulations to the doctors and brought joy to the patients and their families.
    During that time, the videos and photos of the medical aid team to Hubei were displayed on the screen, which they all reflected the positive spirit of FAHGMU’s medical workers.
The medical workers of FAHGMU said that they will continue to carry forward the selfless spirit and contribute to the medical and health services. They said that FAHGMU will have a bright future.
