Recently, the research achievements in the fight against COVID-19 “Will healthcare workers improve infection prevention and control behaviors as COVID-19 risk emerges and increases, in China?” was included by the famous international academic journal Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection Control, which the journal is listed in JCR Region Q1. The paper eva luated the improved infection prevention and control behaviors of medical workers with the emergences and increases of the risk of COVID-19, provided evidence-based infection prevention and control behavior management for a broader target population, and provided theoretical basis and feasibility support for the fight against novel coronavirus. Xu Xiaojun, the Deputy-Secretary of the Party Committee of FAHGMU, is the co-first author of the paper whose Impact Factor (IF) in 2020 is 3.594.

    As the novel coronavirus is highly infectious, it is very important to scientifically and effectively improve the infection prevention and control behaviors of medical workers in the early stage of the pandemic. It will guide medical workers and the broader target group to cope with the large-scale outbreak in the future with the best infection prevention and control behaviors. In order to better protect medical workers and carry out treatment work, Xu Xiaojun and his co-researchers led the team in Ganzhou and Wuhan to actively carry out medical treatment, and conducted the study among medical workers at the early stage of the COVID-19 outbreak, so as to apply the research results to the war against COVID-19.
