On the afternoon of July 17, GMU hold a special Commencement Ceremony in the Huangjin Campus. President Liu Qian awarded Degree Certificate to over 50 graduates who were unable to attend the graduation ceremony due to the COVID-19, and took photos with them.
    Liu Qian pointed out that due to the COVID-19, many graduates of GMU could not attend the graduation ceremony, which was a great regret for them before they leave school, and he said the special commencement ceremony was meant to make the graduates leave without regrets. He also hoped that the graduates can have a bright future and demonstrate the spirit and characteristics of GMU.
