On the afternoon of May 30, Li Gongjin, Secretary of GMU Party Committee, held a meeting to study the spirit of the NPC & CPPCC (Two Sessions). He stressed that GMU should carefully study the spirit and steadily promote the high quality development of GMU.
    The main meeting locale was set up in the Conference Room 401 of the Administration Building in the Huangjin Campus. Liu Qian, Zeng Zexin, Chen Liang, Huang Ruizhong, Ye Junming, Xiao Shuhui, and other relevant directors of Party-mass departments attended the meeting. Other leaders at or above the deputy level attended the meeting in the branch meeting via live video.

    The meeting studied the Government Work Report (Written) of the Two Sessions, the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s Speeches during the Two Sessions, the relevant spirit of the Two Sessions and the spirit of the Liu Qi, Secretary of Party Committee of Jiangxi Province, which was delivered at the provincial leaders meeting etc.
    Li Gongjin pointed out that GMU faculty should realize the significance of the Two Sessions. The opening of the Two Sessions proclaimed to the world that China was the safest and the most stable country in the world, and demonstrated China's firm confidence and determination to achieve national rejuvenation. In addition, the Two Sessions also provided a new blueprint for China's economic development and pointed out the way forward for the Chinese government and people in pandemic prevention and control.
    Li Gongjin stressed that GMU should focus on the essence of the Two Sessions, and earnestly study and deeply understand the spirit of President Xi’s important speeches and Premier Li Keqiang’s Government Work Report. What’s more, learning the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China and the Establishing and Improving the Legal System and Enforcement Mechanisms for Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) was of the same importance.

    Li Gongjin stressed that GMU faculty should implement all kinds of works and enhance the political stands. He said all members of GMU should do a great job in pandemic prevention and control and resumption work, promote the“5 Projects” Construction andachieve high-quality development through reform and innovation.
    Li Gongjin emphasized that GMU should strengthen the Party construction, improve systems and complete the leadership team in order to build a campus with lofty political ecology.
