On the evening of June 9, President Liu Qian attended the Seminar on Quality Assurance and Substantial Equivalence of Online Teaching in Jiangxi Province via remote video. Vice-President Ye Junming attended the seminar as well.
    During the meeting, Liu Qian introduced GMU’s work experience in carrying out online teaching in combination with the teaching characteristics of medical universities. He stressed 3 key points, namely promptness, correctness and strictness, which meant GMU got ready as early as possible, found the common point of the online and offline teaching and strictly controlled the quality of teaching.

    Liu Qian pointed out that GMU should insist student-centered principle in terms of how to connect and transit online and offline teaching after students returned to school. He said that the substantial equivalence of online and offline teaching should be assured.

    Liu Qian introduced the operating condition of GMU’s Open Class on the COVID-19 Prevention and Control. He also stressed that both the orderly promotion of online teaching and the smooth development of medical treatment demonstrated the responsibility of a medical university in the pandemic prevention and control period.
