On the morning of April 24, Zhang Xiaokang, GMU Vice-President and Secretary of the Party Committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU (FAHGMU), visited the medical aid team members who returned to work, extending thanks to them for their contributions of COVID-19 prevention and control in Wuhan and Hubei Province and extending welcome to them for coming back to work.
    Zhang Xiaokang visited Xu Xiaojun, the FAHGMU Vice-President and the team head of the 9th medical team of Jiangxi Province for Hubei Province, and Chen Yijian, the FAHGMU Vice-President and the team head of the 2nd medical team of Jiangxi Province for Suizhou. He successively came to the Emergency Department, Critical Medicine Department, CT Imaging Department, Respiratory Medicine Department, Pediatrics Department, Nursing Department etc to have a talk to the medical team members.
    Zhang Xiaokang pointed out that at the most difficult time of the fight against the pandemic in Hubei Province, everyone responded to the call of the Party Central Committee and the needs of the people and volunteered to rush to the front line of the anti-pandemic, fully demonstrating the lofty character and spirit of the medical workers.
    Zhang Xiaokang required that after returning to work, everyone should have better morale and make new contributions and good achievements. At the same time, everyone should also combine work with rest and take good care of their health.

    The team members expressed their gratitude to the hospital and colleagues for their care and support, and they indicated to continue to carry forward the spirit of fearless and tenacious struggle in their work posts so as to make new contributions to the development of FAHGMU.
    It is known that the FAHGMU has sent six batches (109 medical workers) to support Wuhan and Suizhou in Hubei Province to fight the pandemic, ranking the third in terms of volume in Jiangxi province. At present, all 109 medical workers have come back to work in the hospital.
