On the morning of April 24, Chen Xin, a 2-Class inspector of the Department of Education in Jiangxi Province and director of the Department of Physical Education Health and Art Education, arrived at GMU to specially inspect the work related tostudents' return to school for this semester, listening to the report.

    At the briefing, GMU President Liu Qian extended a warm welcome to the inspection team of the Department of Education in Jiangxi Province and extended sincere thanks to the Department of Educationfor its selfless help in the critical period of pandemic prevention and control. Liu Qian introduced the COVID-19 prevention and control in GMU and the preparations for the students' return to school. GMU Vice-President Huang Ruizhong reported the preparations for students' return to school for this semester in terms of the students' health, the distribution of students' sources, preparations for the start of school, analysis of existing problems and causes, plans for the next step and suggestions. Zeng Zexin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of GMU, presided over the meeting.

    After listening to the school's work report, checking relevant materials, watching on-site guidance on emergency response drill for school opening, on-site inspection on student dormitories and canteens, the inspection team appreciated the school's students' preparations for returning to school and put forward requirements for GMU so as to ensure the smooth, safe and orderly work of returning to school.

    After the meeting, the team also inspected the GMU Life Science Museum on the spot.
Wang Fei, deputy director of Higher Education Department, and Chen Tao, director of Degree Management and Graduate Education Department, were members of the team. GMU Vice-President Ye Junming and Peng Weijie attended the meeting and accompanied the team. Leaders in charge of the Working Group on COVID-19 Prevention and Control attended the meeting.
