On May 9, the first batch of students came back to GMU during the anti-pandemic prevention and control. On the early morning, Secretary of GMU Party Committee Li Gongjin, President Liu Qian and other leaders concerned came to the Zhanggong Campus and Huangjin Campus to visit the staff on duty for picking up the first batch of students, emphasizing the requirements concerned once more for all the links.

    In the Zhanggong Campus, Li Gongjin entered the campus from the front gate, carefully inspected the Teaching Building, Nursing Building, students’ dormitories and the Qingjiang Garden Dormitory. He supervised the implementation of all the links of students returning to school and appreciated all the painstaking effort made by the staff. He also stressed that the staff should always stay ready for the pandemic prevention and control, strictly obey the stipulations and supervise all links. Continuous service for the students and the self-protection of the staff should be well done.

    In the Huangjin Campus, Liu Qian came to the West Gate, School Clinic, students’ dormitories and dining halls and checked the process of students entering the school and the daily arrangement of students' activities, such as entering the dormitory and having meals. After confirming sufficient and orderly preparation of equipment and drugs in the School Clinic, simulated rescue drills were conducted for students’ emergencies, and all departments and units were required to strengthen the implementation of responsibilities so as to provide practical guarantee for students to return to school safely and healthily.
    Deputy Secretary of GMU Party Committee Zeng Zexin, other top leaders Huang Ruizhong, Ye Junming, Xiao Shuhui, Zhang Xiaokang, Peng Weijie, as well as the directors of the relevant functional departments and deans, went to inspect the implementation of students’ study resumption. Currently, the resumption work is being conducted orderly and smoothly.
