On the afternoon of February 20, 85 Medical workers of the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU (FAHGMU) constituted the 9^th team for the Medical Aid Team of Jiangxi Province for Hubei Province. Liu Wenhua, deputy secretary of Party Committee of Ganzhou People’s Government (GPG), Xu Zhonghua, GPG deputy mayor, Li Gongjin, Secretary of the GMU Party Committee, Liu Qian, GMU President, Zhang Xiaokang, GMU Vice president and the Secretary of the FAHGMU Party Committee, Liu Yuanfei, deputy director of Ganzhou Health Commission, Zou Xiaofeng, FAHGMU President, as well as other FAHGMU leaders, went to see off the medical team members at the airport.

    This is the largest scale medical team sent by the hospital in response to major public health emergencies over past years and it is also a special test for the hospital's medical technology level and discipline construction.

    At 14:30, at Ganzhou Huangjin Airport, with determinations, the medical team members lined up. On behalf of the GPG Party Committee and the GP, Liu Wenhua expressed high respect and heartfelt thanks to all the members of the team. Li Gongjin presented a flag to the medical team and Liu Qian presided over the ceremony.

    Liu Wenhua said that at the most critical time of epidemic prevention and control, the FAHGMU medical staff devoted themselves willingly, which gave a full display to the fine professional ethics of medical workers and the lofty spirit. At the departure time, entrusted by Li Bingjun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangxi Province, and Zeng Wenming, the GPG mayor, on behalf of the Party Committee of GPG and the 9.81 million people in Ganzhou, we came here to see you off and extend highest respect and sincere thanks meanwhile. After arriving in Wuhan, CPC members of this team should take the lead in setting an example, and all medical workers should do their best to give a full display to the mental outlook and good images of medical workers in Ganzhou.     After receiving the order from the Health Commission of Jiangxi Province, FAHGMU quickly gathered 85 medical workers in a half hour based on all medical workers active applications. At the same time, the FAHGMFU Medical Department, Nursing Department, Medical Equipment Department, General Affairs Department and other relevant departments worked together to prepare all kinds of materials for the medical team.

    85 medical team members were from the Respiratory Department, Critical Medicine Department, Emergency Department, Pediatrics Department, Nephrology Department, Anesthesiology Department, CT Imaging Department, including 25 doctors (22 male ones, 3 female ones), 60 nurses (8 male ones, 52 female ones), 28 CPC members, 37 people with intermediate or advanced titles.

    The COVID is an order. At 15:30 on February 20, the 85 FAHGMU medical members took the flight to Wuhan for the medical aid of the ICU in Central South Hospital of Wuhan University.
