Since the COVID-19 outbreak in China, GMU teachers and students have joined in the fight in different ways and offered GMU help, donating money and materials.
    Anwar and Moosa, as GMU alumni, who are the practitioners in the United States now, appreciated the determinations and measures of China after knowing the GMU donation proposal and bought a batch of protective goggles and suits for GMU the first time. They hoped the epidemic will be over as soon as possible despite of little volume.

    Batch 2017 MBBS undergraduates Muhammad Salman and IHSAN Ullah returned to Pakistan and bought the masks in their hometowns, and then drove to another city, which was more than 70 kilometers away from their hometowns, to buy 1,500 medical masks so as to post them to GMU. As they said, they wanted to give a display to their aspirations for realizing the medical dreams and giving a hand to the fight against the COVID-19 in China.

    Madhu, a Batch 2016 MBBS Indian undergraduate, and Eric, a Batch 2019 Cameroon graduate, respectively donated 650 Yuan and 500 Yuan to the GMU Alumni Association. Oumar, a Batch 2018 Cameroon graduate, said "I want to be a volunteer for international students, remind everyone to wear masks, wash hands frequently, do dorm ventilation more and gather less. I believe China will win the fight".
