"Our oath to our motherland in the name of youth..." On September 9, more than 3,000 freshmen held a collective declaration campaign “The Oath to the Motherland". They swear to the motherland with the voice of youth, expressing their sincere feelings for the motherland and good wishes for the great motherland.
 

    A bright five-star red flag fluttered in the front square of the Huangjin Campus, and all the freshmen stood in full spirits. The National Flag Guard of College Students marched forcefully to escort the flag to the entrance. With the Grand National Anthem ringing, the bright five-star red flag was rising. Teachers and students sang the National Anthem aloud, focused on the national flag, and did the oath to the great motherland of the new era, jointly celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.
 

    After the ceremony of raising the national flag and the school flag, the representatives of the freshmen Meng Shengkui, and the seniors Gao Yan, respectively made a speech under the national flag in turn, expressing their desire to actively participate in the practice of building the "3 Civilizations" of GMU, to make diligent learning, and to make patriotism the background of youth's grow-up, and to devote their youth to the motherland.
 

    Faced with the rising sun, the teachers and students present recited the excerpt of Fang Zhimin's "Lovely China" collectively, paying tribute to the revolutionary martyrs for national independence, people's liberation and national prosperity. School leaders and students sang the song "Singing the Motherland".
 

    GMU leaders Li Gongjin, Liu Qian, Zeng Zexin, Chen Liang, Huang Ruizhong, Ye Junming, Xiao Shuhui and Zhang Xiaokang participated in the activities.
