On October 1, Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China, held a grand celebration of 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China (AFPRC) and a military parade. This is an important activity for the whole nation to celebrate the 70^th AFPRC and it is also an important event to inspire the national spirit, display the comprehensive national strength and encourage the whole nation to march forward bravely along the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics. GMU Teachers and students watched the National Day celebration and military parade in the multimedia classroom, student dormitory, academic lecture hall of the library, multi-functional lecture hall of the comprehensive building or other places through the Internet, television, radio and other forms, warmly celebrating the 70th AFPRC.
 

    GMU leaders Li Gongjin, Liu Qian, Zeng Zexin, Chen Liang, Huang Ruizhong, Ye Junming, Peng Weijie, Gan Yafen, Lai Chuanjing, Liao Zhiping, and more than 400 staff members of the school headquarters watched the conference live in the main venue. All indicated that the development of the motherland made remarkable achievements, that they were very proud of motherland, and that they will keep the mission in mind, never forget the original intention, forge ahead, and strive to run a Medical University satisfactory to the people.
 

    Ding Yechun, a teaching expert and the associate dean of the School of Pharmacy, said "I was excited to watch the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. I am very proud to see the brilliant achievements of our country over the past 70 years.
