At noon on January 21, GMU held a reunion dinner for the remaining students in the canteen of the Zhanggong Campus. GMU Vice-President Ye Junming had a Celebration of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Rabbit with them.

On behalf of GMU, Ye Junming extended festival greetings to the graduates and international students remaining in the campus and the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU, and expressed gratitude to the departments and faculty members who provided thoughtful service for the remaining students in the school. He pointed out that GMU always took the students as the center and put students' affairs as the top priority. He extended thanks to the remaining graduates in the hospital, their efforts and contributions to the victory against the COVID-19. At the same time, Ye also expressed the hope that the remaining students were required to reasonably arrange the study and life during the holiday, contact their parents and families more, actively carry out scientific research and learning activities, so as to spend a healthy, happy and memorable winter holiday and the Spring Festival.

The remaining students increasingly expressed their gratitude to the schools and GMU. Ji Mengmeng, a graduate from the School of the First Clinical Medicine Sciences, said: "Because I’m a graduate. The thesis is a hard-work. There are many patients in the current department where I’m doing internship. I can't afford to go home to reunite with my family. But with the care of the school and college teachers, I also feel the warmth of home. I will spend my holiday time in studying hard and strive for a successful graduation."

Meanwhile, GMU also prepared New Year gift packages for all the remaining students.

Staff concerned from the Students’ Affairs Division, Graduates’ Affairs Division and Logistics Group participated in this activity.
