On February 27, the 2023 Ganzhou Youth Volunteers’ Service Project (GYVSP) on-site promotion meeting was held in Longnan. The "Small Medicine Box" project, as a beneficial volunteer service one, was highlighted and displayed on site.  

During the meeting, the "Small Medicine Box" project was presented as an outstanding project representative. Huang Xianfeng, a volunteer of the "Small Medicine Box" and a Batch 2020 MBBS student, introduced the project's background, operation, management, effectiveness, and plan, which won applause from the audience.

The "Small Medicine Box" project was displayed on-site in Dawu Village, Lintang Town, Longnan. Liu Zhichun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Basic Medicine Sciences, presided over the display, and Wang Jianfa, Director of the Students’ Affairs Division, explained the "Small Medicine Box" project. Subsequently, the villagers were guided to participate in free clinic activities, with a focus on on-site teaching of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Heimlich method. The villagers and representatives present imitated the movements, receiving good results. Finally, the attending leaders distributed small family medicine boxes to the poverty-stricken households.
