Recently, the 2023 Jiangxi College Students Electronic Special Design Production Competition (JCSESDPC) and Jiangxi College Students Electronic Special Simulation Design Competition (JCSESSDC) were held in Nanchang. School of Medical Information Engineering of GMU organized students to participate and achieved good results. Cao Linyun, Guo Haifeng, and Xu Zuyu won the 2nd prize in the JCSESDPC; Xie Wengeng won the 2nd prize in the JCSESSDC, and Xu Xiang and Fan Longquan the 3rd prize.

It is known that the above 2 competitions are organized by the Education Department of Jiangxi Province, and they are aimed at science and technology activities for undergraduate and vocational college students in the Jiangxi province. Students participate in the name of themselves and they compete in a fully closed arena in consecutive 7.5 hours. In the on-site production competition, each contestant designs an electronic work based on the requirements of the competition, and the evaluation team evaluates each work based on the scoring standards. In the simulation design competition, each contestant designs works based on the requirements of the competition on the field, draws simulation circuit diagrams on a computer, writes program files, implements circuit simulation, and records video displays of the works.
