On April 14, the Central Blood Station of Ganzhou, together with the Youth Volunteer Service Team of Gannan Medical University (GMU), held a voluntary blood donation activity. GMU international students actively participated.

The activity started at 08:30. Chinese and international blood donation volunteers of GMU first visited the blood station and learned about the relevant knowledge and procedure of voluntary blood donation. After that, they walked to Ganzhou Voluntary Blood Donation Public Welfare Station in order and paid a visit within the activity area. At 10:00, the Chinese and international student volunteers of GMU introduced themselves and got to know each other with the blood station staff. Both sides engaged in game interaction, intensifying their relationship. The participants also performed exciting programs, showcasing the charm of multi-culture.

The active participation of international students of GMU was particularly noteworthy. They all expressed that through the activity, they not only deepened their understanding of voluntary blood donation, but also felt the unique charm of Chinese healthcare culture. TALHA YASIR, a Pakistani student and the President of the International Students’ Union of GMU, said, "I am delighted to participate in this event, as it not only lets me contribute my efforts, but also understand Chinese medicine culture. It is very meaningful."

The director of the Central Blood Station of Ganzhou expressed that the successful holding of the event benefited from the active participation and support of Chinese and international students of GMU, adding "I hope this activity can further enhance the society's awareness of voluntary blood donation and promote the mutual assistance among people."
