On September 8, GMU received a letter of praise from Guangdong Duanshen International Education Investment Group Co., Ltd., in which  highly praised and sincerely thanked Hejiawei, a 2022 nursing graduate student of the School of Nursing, who led the team of teachers during her study in Perth at the University of Western Australia in August 2025, and her condition gradually worsened. As a nursing student and party member, HeJiawei took the initiative to help as soon as possible. She not only shared her own medicine with professional judgment, but also accompanied her to the emergency department of the Royal Hospital of Perth without hesitation when the teacher's condition intensified and was suspected of appendicitis. During the two days when the teacher was hospitalized for B-ultrasound and CT examination, HeJiawei always accompanied the teacher with a high sense of responsibility and professional nursing awareness, took good care of her, paid close attention to the progress of the disease, and gave the teacher great psychological support and comfort.
