On the evening of September 25, Yan Jian, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Basic Medicine Sciences (SBMS), delivered the “Orientation” Class for the Class Shuangli of Batch 2020. All the students, the head teachers and counselors in Class Shuangli, participated in the activity. Taking "Marketing Oneself, Managing Life" as the theme, the class introduced the current situation of GMU enrollment and employment in detail, as well as the experience and methods of marketing oneself.

    Focusing on stimulating students to think about the greatest value of life, Yan Jian shared his life experience over the past years and summed up the most beautiful background of life, namely, health and ability. At the same time, by way of knowing the outstanding alumni deeds and reviewing the history of GMU, he aroused the students' sincere love for GMU and confidence in the future, so as to ensure the positive effect of this education work.
    Through this orientation, the students gained a lot, learned the really useful promotion skills, deepened the understanding of GMU teaching philosophy, and went further towards the goal of "Becoming a GMU member in the new era".
