The 6th Basic Medicine Innovation Sciences Forum and Design Competition was divided into two parts, on-site report and defense. The on-site defense was held in the Huangjin Campus on September 26, and experts were invited as the eva luation group. After the fierce competition, the Function and Mechanism of DNA Receptor AIM2 in Host against Candida Albicans, which was designed by He Lihua, Peng Kai and Dai Fangyang, majoring in clinical medicine of Batch 2017, won the first prize.

    At the defense session, the students of GMU systematically expounded the works in terms of the theoretical basis, design concept, experimental content, material feasibility and innovation, giving full display to their good scientific research quality.  Their rigorous scientific research thinking was recognized by the experts and judges.
    It is known that the winners of this contest is expected to participate in the 6th National College Students Basic Medicine Sciences Innovation Forum and Design Contest to be held from October 31 to November 1.
