During July 30-31, the Youth Volunteer Service Team of the School of Pharmacy (SP) went into communities in Ruijin to carry out the TCM Culture Publicity and Charity Clinics.

    The activity was lively, and the volunteers measured the blood glucose and blood pressure for the residents for free. The volunteers also patiently answered all kinds of questions and gave the corresponding health care guidance.
    The volunteers also distributed home-made traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) sachets based on TCM specimens and medicinal materials display, earnestly taught the discrimination and efficacy of TCM, popularized relevant knowledge to people, so that more people could know TCM knowledge and culture.
    According to statistics, the activity lasted for nearly 2 hours and provided a variety of health services for more than 200 people who came for consultation. More than 500 copies of TCM publicity materials were distributed and more than 100 copies of effective questionnaires were collected for the introduction of TCM culture.
    The activity made people feel the charm of TCM culture and enjoy the medical services on the doorstep, which was praised by the residents. One of the residents said that the activity was attentive and practical.
