On December 30, the 1st Sub-forum of School of Basic Medicine Sciences (SBMS) for Rongjiang Forum was held in the Library. Representatives of the winning teams participating in the National College Students' Basic Medical Innovation Research and Experimental Design Contest (NCSBMIREDC) shared their participation experience. Liu Zhichun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the SBMS, Cao Jinguo, SBMS associate dean, attended it, and nearly 200 students’ representatives attended it as well.

At the meeting, the students’ representatives of the 3 award-winning teams Xu Shuquan (the gold winner), Feng Ruixue (the gold winner)), You Hanlu (the silver winner), introduced the basic situation, preparation and process of their entries in turn, especially the gains, experience and precautions of this entry. The students who attended the meeting said that they benefited a lot, understood the basic situation of the NCSBMIREDC, improved their enthusiasm and motivation to participate in scientific and technological innovation, and laid a foundation for them to participate in the NCSBMIREDC in the future.

Liu Zhichun congratulated the 3 excellent teams and asked the students to do the following: First, basic medical knowledge should be studied hard so as to lay a theoretical foundation for scientific and technological innovation; Second, perseverance should be enjoyed; Third, teamwork should be done based on the division of labor.

At the meeting, certificates were also presented to the students’ representatives and instructors of the 3 winning teams.
