On January 5, the School of Public Health and Healthcare Management (SPHHM) held the Safety Education Conference for the Preventive Medicine Majors’ interns in the Huangjin Campus. SPHHM dean Huang Cheng, Qiu Wei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of SPHHM, head teachers and all interns of the Batch 2018 undergraduate class majoring in preventive medicine, attended it.

At the meeting, the head teachers introduced the relevant situation in terms of professional learning, interns management and safety education for the coming the internship. Qiu Wei once again stressed the importance of epidemic prevention and control, and demanded them to put professional ethics first during internship, pay attention to the cultivation of autonomous learning ability, and make full use of internship teaching resources.

Huang Cheng, based on his own experience, expressed the hope that the interns should cherish opportunities, have cooperation, do self-study, practice skills, pay attention to safety and personal protection, that interns were required to enhance their learning ability, thinking ability, application ability and communication ability, give full play to the professional advantages of SPHHM interns, and play a leading and guiding role in epidemic prevention during the coming internship,.

In the face-to-face communication and questioning session, the interns asked questions about the internship rotation departments. The teachers answered that patiently and actively interacted with the interns, building a warm atmosphere.
