On March 23, the Division of Scientific Research and Industry (DSRI) of GMU organized research teams captains to conduct academic exchange activities at the National Key Laboratory of Major Disease New Drug Target Discovery and New Drug Creation (NKLMDNDTDNDC). The leaders of the DSRI and Gannan Innovation and Translational Medicine Research Institute, as well as more than 30 research teams captains, doctors with doctoral degree and professors concerned, participated in the activity.

During the symposium, GMU research teams gained a detailed understanding of the laboratory's platform construction, talent teams, technological advantages, and progress in achievements. Both sides introduced their respective research directions and engaged in detailed exchange and sharing of their research achievements and valuable experience. In the in-depth talk, both sides proposed the key and difficult points of current cooperation and jointly explored solutions. Both sides also discussed how to further deepen academic exchange and work together to promote the development of the biopharmaceutical field.

Each research team expressed the need to further strengthen communication with the NKLMDNDTDNDC. They expressed the hope that both sides can strengthen interaction and learn from each other in research projects, platforms, technical services, and other aspects. At the same time, they expressed the hope that the laboratory can provide more high-quality research resources.

During this exchange, research teams also visited research platforms such as the Laboratory Model Animal Engineering Research Center, Precision Medicine Center, and Innovative Drug R&D Center, and conducted on-site visits of functional areas such as the operating room and imaging center to gain a detailed understanding of the development of laboratory construction.
