On the morning of October 1, as well as the 71st anniversary of the founding of PRC, the Department of United Front Work of GMU Party Committee organized all the freshmen and military training instructors to hold a National-flag-raising Ceremony.
    At 08:00, the National-flag-raising Ceremony began, and the Honor Guard escorted the national flag to the site and all the teachers and students stood solemnly and sang the “Ode to Motherland”.

    Li Quanjun, a students’ representative of Batch 2020, and Luo Li, a military training instructor, delivered speeches respectively, saying that they would study hard and make due contributions to GMU and the country.
    After the ceremony, all the freshmen expressed that they would actively respond to President Xi Jinping’s message to the younger generation, carry forward the spirit of arduous struggle, shoulder the responsibility and make unremitting efforts for the prosperity of the country and the rejuvenation of the nation.
