On September 28, GMU held an Emergency Drill for Pandemic Prevention and Control in Autumn and Winter in 2020 in the Huangjin Campus. Zeng Zexin, the Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of GMU, Huang Ruizhong and Ye Junming, 2 Vice Presidents of GMU, checked the drill.

    The drill simulated the emergency plan which will be conducted in GMU’s different places after the confirmed cases were found. During the drill, each department worked closely with each other in a clear division and dealt with the emergency quickly and decisively.

    Zeng Zexin affirmed the emergency drill, and reminded all the departments to constantly raise awareness, strictly follow the requirements of the Education Department of Jiangxi Province and the Ministry of Education of China and pay attention to the implementation of the pandemic prevention and control measures on a regular basis. After the drill, each department was required to summarize the drill based on the opinions of prevention and control experts, implement the relevant measures, and further improve the pandemic prevention and control mechanism. 

    GMU’s experts on pandemic prevention and control commented on the procedures of the drill and put forward the suggestions and plans for further modification.
    The relevant leaders of FAHGMU, SAHGMU, Division of Security, Logistics Group, School of Public Health and Health Management, as well as all leaders of Students Affairs Office, watched the emergency drill together.
