On the afternoon of September 29, organized by the Ministry of Education, the “Online Retracing of the Long March” and the National Launching Ceremony of the Education of the “Four Histories” (NLCEFH) was held in Yudu County. Weng Tiehui, the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education of China, and Shi Xiaolin, the Director of Propaganda Department of Jiangxi Province, attended the activity and made speeches respectively. Over 30 representatives of teachers and students of GMU attended the ceremony.

Weng Tiehui appreciated the activities carried out in the early stage and put forward specific requirements for this activity, which included strengthening overall deployment, establishing responsibility mechanism, strengthening platform support, strengthening typical guidance, and paying attention to publicity.

It is reported that the activity will be carried out in the form of relay stations and 16 competition areas will be established. The theme activity will be conducted in the following 4 aspects, namely, “Learning the Party History, the New China History, the History of Reform and Opening up, and the History of Socialism”. And the activity will last to July 2021 from September 2020.
